IMG_1870 So I’ll admit that finding food out to eat is pretty tough on a limited diet – Mexican and Vietnamese seem to be safe choices if you avoid and sauces with sugar! We found this adorable little Pho place and decided to give it a go last week. They used thicker noodles than I’ve had in the past which was a new experience, and overall it was really delicious.

Pho & new experiences

pho_ps I have a thing for trying new types of food, preferably spicy foods. So when a friend asked if I’d like to try Vietnamese Pho, I was immediately on board! For those of you who don’t know, Pho is a Vietnamese soup that has hot broth poured over noodles and thin slices of beef. The beef is raw when the steaming hot broth is poured on, and cooks with the heat.

It’s then topped with thin slices of onion and chives. They give you a plate of beat sprouts, lime, jalapeno, and fresh herbs to top your soup as you please. There’s also a variety of hot sauces to add if you’re brave enough, I opted for Sriracha, and a few others that had no name and were in randomly sized bottles. Legit.

If you get a chance to try Pho, do it. I hope you love it as much as I do!
